MovePoints Privacy Policy

Last updated September 15, 2026

MovePoints is an app by Becare Digital (CNPJ 57.243.830/0001-67), Brazil. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, write to becaredigital@gmail.com.

The short version

  • No account. You don’t sign up, and we never ask for your email or a password.
  • Your plan stays on your phone. Your name, exercises, schedule, history and points are stored only on your device.
  • Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports help us improve the app. You can turn them off at any time.
  • Payments go through Google Play or the App Store. We never see your card details.
  • No ads, and we never sell your data.

Information stored on your device

To work, MovePoints saves on your phone:

  • the name or nickname you enter;
  • the exercises you picked and your repetitions;
  • your reminder days and times, and your walking and water settings;
  • the reminders you completed or skipped, your points and your streaks;
  • your app settings.

This information does not leave your phone and is not sent to us. Reminders are scheduled by your phone’s operating system; MovePoints does not use a server to send them.

You can delete all of it at any time in Settings → Danger zone → Reset everything, or by uninstalling the app.

Usage statistics (PostHog)

If sharing is on, the app sends anonymous usage events to PostHog, an analytics service, so we can understand which features help and where people get stuck. These events include:

  • actions in the app, such as finishing the setup, opening a reminder, completing or skipping a set, and logging water;
  • which screens are opened;
  • when the app is installed, opened or updated;
  • the app version, device model, operating system, language and time zone;
  • a random identifier created by the app, which is not linked to your name.

We don’t send your name, anything you type, your contacts or your location. PostHog is set up to discard IP addresses.

Crash reports (Sentry)

If sharing is on and the app crashes, a report is sent to Sentry, an error-monitoring service. It contains technical details about the error, the app version, the device model and the operating system. It doesn’t include your name or other personal details.

Turning statistics and crash reports off

Go to Settings → Privacy → Share crash reports and usage and switch it off. The app stops sending both right away.

Subscriptions

MovePoints Premium is sold as a subscription through Google Play or the Apple App Store. The store handles the payment under its own privacy policy, and we never receive your card details.

To check whether your subscription is active on your devices, we use RevenueCat, a subscription service. It receives a random app identifier, the products you bought, and the transaction details provided by the store.

Who we share information with

We only share information with the service providers described above: PostHog (usage statistics), Sentry (crash reports) and RevenueCat (subscriptions). They process it on our behalf, only to provide their services. These providers are based in the United States, so information may be transferred there, with the safeguards they offer for international transfers.

We don’t sell your information, show ads, or share information for advertising.

Under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and similar laws, such as the GDPR:

  • information on your device is used to provide the app you asked for;
  • usage statistics and crash reports are based on our legitimate interest in keeping the app working and improving it, and you can object at any time by turning sharing off;
  • subscription information is used to provide the subscription you bought.

How long we keep information

Information on your device stays there until you reset or uninstall the app. Usage statistics and crash reports are kept only as long as needed to fix and improve the app, and are then deleted according to our providers’ retention settings. Subscription records are kept for as long as the law and the app stores require.

Your rights

You can ask us to confirm whether we hold information about you, to access, correct or delete it, or to receive a copy, and you can object to its use. Because the app has no accounts, most information never reaches us. Write to becaredigital@gmail.com and we’ll help. You can also contact Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD), or the data protection authority where you live.

Children

MovePoints is not intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we’ll let you know in the app.
