ReadyToTravel simulates your trip in English, from the airport and passport control to public transport, the hotel and the restaurant. In each situation, you learn the words and expressions you'll really hear, then listen and repeat them out loud with shadowing exercises, until speaking feels natural.
What it does
A whole trip, in order
Pick your destination, and the app takes you through it step by step: the flight, passport control, baggage, transport, the hotel, restaurants, shopping and the way home.
Words and expressions you'll hear
Every situation teaches the vocabulary and the set phrases people really use there, with a photo for each word, so you understand the answers too.
Shadowing, out loud
Listen to each phrase and repeat it right after, copying the rhythm and the sounds. Then the app shows which words came out right.
Your trip in every dialogue
Your name, your dates, your destination and who you travel with go into the conversations, so you practice the answers you'll actually give.
Announcements and numbers
Train your ear for gates, delays and flight numbers, said the way airlines say them, like flight three-oh-five.
Words that stick
